The benefit ride to support “Feed our Vets” is hosted by American Legion Post 787 Riders, Cicero, NY.

In conjunction with Feed our Vets Ride is coordinated with multiple participating American Legion and VFW organizations within Onondaga County, collecting nonperishable food and raising funds throughout the year.

Feed Our Vets is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to help Veterans in the United States, their spouses, and children whose circumstances have left them on the battlefield of hunger and to involve the public in fighting Veteran hunger.

Over 130,000 Veterans are homeless and hungry on any night in America. One in three homeless people in America is a U.S. Military Veteran. And nearly four million Veterans and their families don’t have enough to eat during the year.

Registration for the Feed our Vets Motorcycle Ride, is $35/rider and $25/passenger and includes the Veteran benefits ride, chicken BBQ, live music, and participation in a chance for the poker chip grand prize.

Here’s how the poker Feed Our Vets Chip Ride works:
-$10 from each registration will go directly into the pot for the poker chip grand prize.
-There will be three stops along the 80-mile Ride around Oneida Lake.
-You will draw a chip at registration to start, then at each stop, you will draw one poker chip and document the color.
-At the end of the Ride, we will draw chips to designate a point value for each of the four colors.
-When your cards are turned in and tallied, the high score wins the pot. Depending on how many registered riders will determine the prize.

Feeling hungry before you leave? In addition, there will be an optional all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast available from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. And the fee is $10/person.
