Bikes Blues & BBQ General Information

Bikes Blues Barbq is the largest Arkansas motorcycle rally and now with an estimated 400k attendees it is one of the top 5 largest in the US. Bikes, Blues is a family friendly rally that generates a lot of money for local charities and it is also on the Lightning Customs' 2012 Major Biker Rallies List.

Bikes Blues BBQ Attractions

If you have not been to the Fayetteville rally the area offers riding in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. So the ride into Fayetteville, Eureka Springs or Devils Den poker runs, and other rides you might take will be scenic and memorable.

At Bikes, Blues Dickson Street is the center of the rally and it is packed with bikes, riders, and others in attendance checking out the motorcycles and people-watching while riding, walking, or hanging out at one of the pubs on the street.

With the growth the Fayetteville Arkansas rally it has expanded to the Baum Stadium, Washington County Fairgrounds, and in 2011 Bikes Blues BBQ expanded into the neighboring town of Springdale which hosted professional arena cross at the Rodeo Grounds.

Bikes: there were two bikes shows (Stokes Air Bike Show and the Battle of the Bikes). Blues: throughout the Bikes Blues rally there will be free regional bands at the Dickson Street Main Stage, Baum Stadium, and Washington County Fairgrounds. There is also pay per ticket concerts at Arkansas Music Pavilion located at the Northwest Arkansas Mall where in 2011 Candlebox and Jamey Johnson played. Barbeque: There is amazing barbeque at all of the venues and multiple cook-off contests.

With the gigantic attendance there were of course a gigantic amount of attractions including the two poker runs mentioned above as well as the bike raffle, parade, Bikes Blues and BBQ Babes contest, hundreds of other vendors, and corporate Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, and Yamaha brought in their rigs so you could check out their 2012 demo fleet.

Bikes Blues Fees and Other Info

-FEES: A lot of it is free as it is an open rally. There are charges to see the concerts at Arkansas Music Pavilion, and some low fees for instance to ride the shuttle from Washington County Fairgrounds/Dickson Street Shuttle ($5 one way or $8 round trip in 2011) or for the barbeque tasting kit for the Peoples Choice Award bbq contest ($6 in 2011).
