Myrtle Beach Bike Week General Info

The Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Week is the larger of the two Bike Weeks in South Carolina (the other being the Fall Myrtle Beach Rally which happens October 2 to 6, 2013) and it is on the 2013 Lightning Customs' Major Biker Rallies List.

Although the number of attendees over the last few years is not close to what it was in early 2000, the numbers were up in 2012. It was not just the slow economy and changes in the motorcycle industry, but a number of unfriendly Bike Week laws passed that hurt both rallies. The good news is that there have been some positive changes in the laws as well as adaptions by Sonny (the longtime promoter and owner of the Myrtle Beach Bike Weeks), vendors, and attendees.

Myrtle Beach Rally Attractions

One notable event that has self-guided tours where you get points to win prizes that spans both rallies is called Myrtle Beach Bike Week(R) The Ride and it will happen from March 1, 2013 to October 31, 2013. So you won't only be supporting local businesses and have the chance to win prizes, but if you ride the tours you also will be able to see the beautiful Myrtle Beach area, the ocean, and the sandy beaches.

Attractions at the Grand Strand, surrounding areas, bars (including Suck, Bang, and Blow), dealerships, and other venues include live music, bike shows, classic car show, celebrity appearances, poker runs, contests, rides, giveaways, charity events, and vendors.
