Black Bikers Week General Information
Although the majority of attendees to the 2011 Black Bike Week (officially called Atlantic Beach Bike Week) are African Americans, this is an event for any race, any type of bike, and for everyone whether you ride or not. Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Atlantic Beach on Memorial Day Weekend
Black Bikers Weekend is on Lightning Customs 2011 Major Motorcycle Rallies List.
In the past there have been a number of non-friendly motorcycle enthusiast and biker laws pushed for and some passed that had a significant impact on the attendees at rallies in the area including Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally (May 13 to May 22, 2011) and the Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally (Sept 28 to Oct 2, 2011). With the Helmet Law in Myrtle Beach having been overturned by the South Carolina Supreme Court, this will help to increase attendance at all of the SC motorcycle rallies. Be aware that the noise ordinance in the city of Myrtle Beach is still in effect.
