The Thunder in the Rockies Bike Rally in Loveland, Colorado, has been permanently canceled. This was announced in July 2023.

One noted reason for the cancellation of the Thunder in the Rockies is that it allows the organization to focus on Realities for Children fundraising at the Realities Ride and Rally. This is a fundraiser to help abused and neglected kids.

2022 Thunder in the Rockies Update

First, here is some good news – the Loveland Thunder in the Rockies Rally’s 2022 dates are now live.

Next, the 2020 and 2021 Thunder in the Rockies events did not take place. And here are some of the reasons noted why Loveleand’s Thunder did not occur in 2021:
– The possibility of COVID-19 restrictions
– The entertainer’s Covid concerns
– Vendors, sponsors, and partners are having supply chain issues, as well as a lack of labor and inventory

But in light of the event’s cancellation, there is some good news. That is, the Thunder in the Rockies concert tickets were refunded. As you know, many rallies just kept the money. And these rallies said that they would honor the tickets for next year.

The Forever Family Ride still happened. For those who are not aware, this ride raised $28,000 for Realities for Children. Realities for Children helps abused, neglected, abandoned, or at-risk youth.

2022 Loveland Bike Rally Overview

Next, riding is one of the huge draws during the Loveland motorcycle rally. And the riding in the Rocky Mountains is simply outstanding! All you must do is go west and quickly be in the Foothills.

In addition to riding, many attractions are set up for the Thunder in the Rockies Bike Rally. For instance, the rally will feature local and national bands, as well as a motorcycle show.
