General 2009 Thunder Beach Rally Information
The smaller of the two Panama City Florida rallies is the Fall Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally and the larger one is the Thunder Beach Spring Rally. Both rallies in the spring and the fall are billed as the "The Most Biker Friendly Free Rally in the United States" and are on the Lightning Customs 2009 Major Bike Rally List.
2009 Thunder Beach Rally Attractions
Two new official Thunder Beach venues (Frank Brown Park and Sharkys Beach Bar) were added in addition to the five traditional rally venues at the Thunder Beach biker rally which are the Shops at Edgewater, Pier Park, Spinnaker Beach Club, Boardwalk Beach, and Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort. You will also find that a lot of the bars also contests, attractions, and live music at the local bars.
The Thunder Beach bike rally attractions include the Kick Off Party, bike builders, bike show, manufactures displays, stunt show, biker contests, tattoo contest, poker runs, live music, dyno, parade, and vendors. Additionally there were a number contests for the ladies including wet t shirt contests, bikini contests, sun tan contest, best buns contest, and the Miss Thunder Beach contest.
