General Thunder in the Valley Rally Information
The Thunder in the Valley motorcycle rally is held in the Johnstown Pennsylvania area, which is an hour east of Pittsburgh PA. This event is one of the best Pennsylvania motorcycle rallies and even with the changes in the motorcycle industry in general and the slow economy over 150,000 bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts showed up in 2009. The Johnstown PA rally is on the 2010 Lightning Customs' Major Bike Rallies List.
Johnstown Motorcycle Rally Attractions
The motorcycle rally is located in the Allegheny Mountains Range region, so there is lots of fun, scenic terrain to ride through. The center of the Thunder in the Valley is Johnstown, but you will find that other locations and all of the local dealerships in and around the Johnstown PA area will have their own events and attractions. The Johnstown rally attractions include wide variety of live music acts, events at the bars, hill climbs, bike contests, tattoo contests, poker runs, attractions for the adults that include competitions like mud wrestling, pudding wrestling and wet t shirt contest, a parade, things for the kids to do, and a lot of vendors.
