There have been some name changes over the recent years for the rally held next to the Mississippi River in Davenport IA from Sturgis on the River Rally and the Mississippi River Rally, but the official name is now the Rally on the River. Whatever name you refer to it by, it is one of the best Iowa motorcycle rallies and the River Rally is on the 2015 Lightning Customs' Major Biker Rallies List.

Attractions at the Mississippi River rally include regional bands and national acts (Warrant played in 2014), a bike show and a car show, the Globe of Death, a bike rodeo, rides, the Rally Girl competition, a burn out pit, fireworks, other contests, and vendors. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to do some gambling on the riverboat casinos.
