DescriptionStart: Remington’s, 1655 West Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807 End: Summers at the River, 2142 North Sports Complex Lane Nixa, MO 65714 Registration will begin at 12:30 with the first bikes out at 2 p.m., and the last bikes out at 3 p.m. May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and on May 31, 2008. Eleven area motorcycle riding organizations will join together to lead a 23 mile safety-awareness ride in Springfield, MO. The theme of the ride is “Can You See Me Now?” Free T-shirts for the 1st 200 riders and live entertainment at the ending point. The area rider groups represented are: ABATE for Missouri, American Legion Riders, Bikers Against Child Abuse, BMW Roadriders, Christian Motorcycle Association, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Freedom of the Road Riders, Gold Wing Touring Association, Lady Cruisers of the Ozarks, Springfield Retreads, and Star #248.
