The 2018 Golden Aspe Rally is back on. There are new owners who are going to be holding both the 2018 AspenCash in the spring and the Golden Aspen in the fall. We have left both the “November 22, 2017 Announcement” and the “PRE-November 22, 2017 Announcement”/what was expected to happen at the 2018 Golden Aspen Motorcycle. For now, after you read the below, the best thing to do to see what is going on is to check their site.
November 22, 2017 Announcement
The promoters of the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally and AspenCash Motorcycle Rally have retired. Here is their letter:
Dear Rally Participants, Loyal Christian Motorcyclists Association & Other Volunteers, Vendors and Corporate & Business Supporters:
After many, many hours of prayers, soul searching and personal reflection, we have decided that after 20 years of promoting and working on the AspenCash Motorcycle Rally/Poker Run and 30 years of promoting and working on the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally, for personal reasons, it is time for us to retire.
We are hereby announcing that 2017 marked the last year for both the AspenCash and the Golden Aspen rallies.
We want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has participated in, worked at and supported us over these many years!
For communication purposes our rally email, FaceBook, website, PO Box, phone number, etc. will remain open and available for the next six months.
Rally Pins and Patches, 2017 and past years, are available to purchase on our website, (domain name is for sale).
Should the Rally Promotion task be passed on to another company or individual the website may reflect this in the future.

The 2018 Golden Aspen Rally will be the 49th annual event. It is a family-friendly rally focusing on road and touring enthusiasts held each year right outside of Ruidoso, NM at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino. The other motorcycle rally held at this location is the AspenCash Motorcycle Rally (May 17-20, 2018). Both of these rallies are on the 2018 Lightning Customs' Major Biker Rallies List.
The Golden Aspen is an AMA National Road Riding Convention. Some of the attractions are the 55,000 square feet Trade Show, seven poker runs, amazing self-guided rides, bike judging, motorcycle parade, skilled rider challenge, and a chance to win a new Harley-Davidson.
