DescriptionMotorcyclists can enjoy the beginning of Autumn at the first annual KidsWork Poker Run and post-run party. The ride will be held on Sunday, October 5th, with free donuts at 10:00 AM at Old Plank Trail Tavern,113 Kansas Street, Frankfort, finishing at a post-run party held at and sponsored in-part by CD & ME, 23320 S. LaGrange, Frankfort. Participants will ride through local streets and country roads, making 5 stops along the way for their poker cards. First bikes leave from Old Plank Trail Tavern at 11:00 AM. The band 3rd Degree will perform at the post-run party and bike show from 3:00 – 6:00 at CD & ME. Lunch, non-alcoholic beverages and a chance at the door prize are all included in the registration fee. Cash bar available. Non-run participants are invited to the post-run party for a $10 donation to KidsWork. A raffle sponsored by Unlimited Systems and 50/50 raffle sponsored by Hooters will take place at the post-run party. Poker run raffle tickets are being sold for $10 each or 6 for $50 for a chance at to win an Audiovox 42” High Definition LCD TV valued at $1,500. Winner need not be present to win. Registration is $20 per rider, $10 per passenger and includes lunch sponsored by Aurelios with non-alcoholic beverages, a ticket for the door prize - a Joe Rocket Alter Ego 2.0 Textile Mesh Jacket & Fulmer AF-SS Helmet worth $400 from Zone Honda, and a biker pin sponsored by the Steven Reichert Foundation for the first 500 who register. Registration fees are waived for participants with $50 or more in pledges. All money is due before the start of the run. Ride takes places rain or shine, no attitudes. All proceeds from the event will go to KidsWork, Will County’s hands-on, interactive children’s museum scheduled to open this school year in Frankfort.
