General Information
Panama City Florida hosts two rallies; the Thunder Beach Spring Rally and the Thunder Beach Fall Rally. Both attract a lot of attendees, but the spring rally is the larger of the two. The rallies are billed as the "The Most Biker Friendly Free Rally in the United States" and both are on the Lightning Customs' 2012 Major Biker Rallies List.
Attractions
It is always free to get into and park at the official Thunder Beach rally venues. In 2011 the venues were the Shops at Edgewater, Frank Brown Park, Pier Park, Sharky's Beach Bar, Pineapple Willy's, and Lavela.
Attractions included a bike show, Thunder Beach Kick-Start Party, poker runs, live music, demo rides, parade, and vendors. Two of the crowd favorites are always the Miss Thunder Beach contest and bikini contest, and in 2011 there was a Ms Thunder Beach contest added for ladies over 35. The Panama City area itself has a number of attractions year round including the beautiful white sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico, night clubs, and outdoor beach bars.
