The Sturgis on the River motorcycle rally is held next to the Mississippi River in Davenport Iowa. The Sturgis on the River Motorcycle Rally is the largest of the Iowa motorcycle rallies and it is also on the Lightning Customs 2009 Major Biker Rally List.
Mississippi River Rally Attractions
Some of the attractions at the Mississippi River rally include a ton of regional bands playing all weekend. Events at the Sturgis River Rally include the River Rat Bike Show, Chopper College doing their 3 day build, guided and unguided rides along the Mississippi River, poker runs, a street party, Scooter Girl contest, Veterans Traveling Wall, Extreme Fighting including a bout with Tim Silvia, vendors, and Big Schwagg regularly shows up. You will also find music, contests, and other entertainment at the bars, and gambling on the riverboat casinos.
