2005 SPI Bikefest General Information

In 2005 South Padre Island will host their annual SPI bike rally also called the Roar by the Shore. This is family oriented rally is one of the larger Texas biker events and is on the 2005 Lightning Customs Major Motorcycle Rallies List.

If you havent been to Padre Island Texas it is a narrow island in the Gulf of Mexico, so from the two main drags you can see the attractive coast line. South Padre Bike Fest offers a unique setting outside the rally itself because there are a lot of open bars along the drag that make for a great party. Check out the 2004 SPI Bike Fest Pics.

Besides lots of live music at one of the best Texas biker events (some played at the rally site and some at Schlitterbahn Waterpark on the opposite end of Padre Island), there will also be biker vendors, poker runs, bike show, field events, and Bike Fest motorcycle parade, there is Mexico run which is always cool.
