2013 Rolling Thunder XXVI
Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom - XXVIIWashington DC
May 25, 2014
Rolling Thunder Ride General Info
The 2014 Rolling Thunder Ride will be the 27th anniversary of this demonstration that helps to publicize the POW-MIA issue. It also gives us an opportunity to remember our veterans who have made so many sacrifices for our freedom.
Rolling Thunder attracts hundreds of thousands of riders and patriotic non-riders who line the streets as the Ride starts at the Pentagon and finishes at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on the National Mall in DC.
The Mall has a lot of important monuments including a number of monuments dedicated to our brave veterans of American wars. Although all of the military monuments are powerful reminders of the sacrifice our brothers and sisters have made, the Vietnam Memorial Wall is something that you have to see and when you do, it is something that you will remember for the rest of your life.
