General Rolling Thunder Ride for the Wall Info
In 2008 the POW MIA Ride to the Wall will be the 20th anniversary of the event that gives us an opportunity to remember our veterans who sacrificed their lives for our freedom and also to bring attention to the POW and MIA problem. The Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Ride is one of the largest motorcycle rides in the United States and is on the 2008 Lightning Customs Major Motorcycle Events List.
Rolling to the Wall Thunder Events
The Rolling Thunder Ride to the Wall will attract some 300,000 plus riders as well as many patriotic non-riders who line the streets. This POW MIA ride starts at the Pentagon and finishes at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. The area around the Reflecting Pool in Washington DC not only has many important monuments, but has a lot of monuments for the veterans of American Wars.
Although the other monuments are powerful reminders of the sacrifice our brothers and sisters have made, the Vietnam Memorial Wall is something that you have to see and when you do see the Wall it is something that is overwhelming.
