General 2009 Ohio Bike Week Information

Formerly called the North Coast Thunder Rally, Bike Week Ohio is the largest of the Ohio motorcycle rallies with some 75,000 plus attendees. The 2009 Bike Week is on the Lightning Customs 2009 Major Biker Rallies List.

Bike Week Ohio Attractions

This Ohio bike rally is held at the same time the AHDRA Nationals are held at the Summit Motorsports Park. In addition to the AHDRA racing action there are also motorcycles races, flat track races, and motocross racing.

The Sandusky Ohio bike rally is not at a loss for events. Whether you ride in the parade or not, the one thing you cant miss is the huge block party where it is wall to wall motorcycles and motorcycle enthusiasts in downtown Sandusky. During the bike week you will be also able to see top live music acts; in 2008 they had Ted Nugent and Travis Tritt. At Ohio Bike Week there are also custom bike builder displays, a celebrity builder charity ride and breakfast, a Harley only bike show, ABATE ride in bike show, antique bike display, car displays, and car shows.

If you are interested in gambling there is also charity gambling, Texas hold em, and a number of poker runs. Ohio Bike Week also has a number of contests for activities to see the ladies including a bikini contest, ring girl contest, oil wrestling, sexy silhouette contest, and the Purrfect Angelz.

There is extreme riding during the Bike Week in Ohio like the Rhett Rotten's Wall of Death, Ball of Steel, and a motorcycle stunt show. Other extreme types of entertainment in 2008 included EFC cage fighting. Additionally there are demo rides, biker contests, events at Roeder Harley, the ABATE swap meet, and even activities for kids.
