General Myrtle Beach Bike Week Information

Over the past years there have been a number of non-friendly motorcycle enthusiast and biker laws pushed for and some passed that had a significant impact on the number of attendees and vendors at the rallies in the Myrtle Beach area (the Spring Rally, Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally (September 28 to October 2, 2011) and the Black Bike Week (May 27 to May 30, 2011)).

If you were at the Myrtle Beach rallies years ago they had a huge number of attendees, it was a lot of fun, had all of the big name attractions, and a lot of vendors said that it was one of their most profitable rallies year after year. We hope to see Bike Week Myrtle Beach get back to the way that it was. Both the Myrtle Beach rallies are on the 2011 Lightning Customs Major Bike Rallies list.

Potentially some good news: with the Helmet Law in Myrtle Beach having been overturned by the South Carolina Supreme Court there will be a significant increase in attendance for the Myrtle Beach Spring Bike Week and the other SC motorcycle rallies.

Myrtle Beach Spring Bike Rally Attractions

Since things change so fast because of the laws passed we really encourage you to check out the Myrtle Beach Bike Week website frequently. One attraction that won't change at the Myrtle Beach Spring bike rally is the riding. The Myrtle Beach area, referred to the Grand Strand, offers some 60 miles of white sandy beaches and the blue Atlantic Ocean.

Bike Week Myrtle Beach Fees and Other Information

-Fees: obviously riding around and seeing attractions has always been free, other fees check the Official Bike Week site below as well as the venues
-Helmet Law Found Unconstitutional, but Be Aware that the noise ordinance in the city of Myrtle Beach is still in effect
