General Red River Rally Information

The 2009 Memorial Day Red River rally will be held in the beautiful town of Red River New Mexico and is on the Lightning Customs 2009 Major Biker Rally List.

This old mining town is located at the southern point of the Rocky Mountains in valley the Sangre de Cristo Mountains which offers some scenic riding. As with any rally in the mountains, be prepared for weather changes by packing your colder weather and rain gear. Red River bike rally is one of the best New Mexico motorcycle rallies, so if you have the time you should check it out.

2009 Red River Run Attractions

Having spent a number of years riding in the beautiful Rockies, One thing you need to do while you are at the New Mexico Red River Run is enjoy the scenic rides, especially what is called the Enchanted Circle. The Rockies provide rugged, yet beautiful, winding mountain roads which are sure to be a memorable part of this New Mexico motorcycle rally. Since this is a Memorial Day rally you can take the scenic ride to Angel Fire where there is a National Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Some of the activities will include the Enchanted Circle rolling raffle, 50/50 cash drawing, live music, the ride to Angel Fire for the ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and events and contests for bikers at the local Red River bars.
