General Lone Star Rally Information
South of Houston and over the Causeway in Galveston Texas you will find the 2010 Lone Star Rally. Texas motorcycle rallies at this time of the year often enjoy good weather and in 2009 it was mixed; not great at first but Saturday and Sunday it was beautiful so be prepared. As far as Texas motorcycle rallies go this is the biggest and it is on the 2010 Lightning Customs' Major Biker Rally List.
Lone Star Galveston Motorcycle Rally Attractions
The Galveston Texas venue offers some pretty cool attractions. The ride over the Causeway to the Galveston bike rally is something unique for people from the middle of the country, the riding along side the beach with a view of the coast, and a constant parade of bikes riding on Strand Street during the day. This tourist city is also not short of places to eat and drink with a ton of taverns, bars and restaurants. Even better is the fact that a lot of these establishments have outdoor areas so you can watch what is going on at the rally and the bikes driving around Galveston.
Although most people stay in hotels, you do have the option at the Galveston Rally for some seaside camping at the Fort Travis Campground. This area is now referred to as the County Park which is also where some big concerts are held. Other Lone Star rally attractions included live music, ride-in bike show, tour of a ghost ship, Halloween Costume Parade, Miss Lone Star Rally, hot promotions girls, and a ton of quality vendors.
