2006 Little Sturgis Bike Rally General Information
Sturgis KY hosts the Little Sturgis Rally and Races 14th Annual rally which is on the Lightning Customs 2006 Major Biker Rallies List. If you are not familiar with the area, this is a picturesque, small town. If you are coming from out of the state, take the time to plan your ride because there are a ton of national parks whichever direction youre coming in from. Once youre their, you will find that the area around Sturgis Kentucky is a cool place to ride with the curvy roads on hills.
The bike rally Little Sturgis offers is one where you can stay at a hotel in a town relatively nearby, but you need to camp to get the full experience. Little Sturgis is held at the Union County Fairgrounds and has the space and facilities to accommodate you.
Little Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2006 Attractions
One of the most memorable attractions at the Little Sturgis is the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. This memorial is half the size of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in D.C., but it allows people who have not been able to see the full-sized Wall the opportunity to pay respect to the 58,000 plus brothers and sisters that were lost during the war. You will need to check the official Little Sturgis biker rally site to see if this incredible traveling memorial will be there in 2006; hopefully so, it is something you will remember for a long time.
