General Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally Information

The Golden Aspen is the second Ruidoso rally of the year, the first being the Aspen Cash rally which happens May 15 to 18, 2008. This Ruidoso New Mexico rally will attract over 30,000 enthusiasts and is on the 2008 Lightning Customs Major Motorcycle Rally List.

Golden Aspen Bike Rally Attractions

The beautiful riding terrain in New Mexico is always amazing in this area with the winding mountains filled with pine trees and ghost towns close to this Golden Aspen Ruidoso rally. The change of the colors of the aspen leaves obviously have no exact date, but if you are lucky the leaves will be changing during Golden Aspen. When the aspens change colors you will see everything from green, yellow, orange, and pinkish-red leaves on the trees. When riding by a whole mountainside with the aspens changing it is something that will make even the most artistic connoisseurs will be in awe.

Another big draw at the Golden Aspen is that it hosts the AMA National Road Riding Convention and has a trade show that covers over 85,000 square feet. Other attractions include bike shows, field events, demo rides, poker runs through the Ruidoso area, motorcycle giveaway, the Golden Aspen Rally Queen & King Contest, motorcycle parade, and other events and attractions you can see on the Golden Aspen site.
