|Description||The 2nd Annual "Ride for the MRDD Levy" takes place on Saturday, June 21 at the Thomas A. Wildey School, one mile west of Owensville, OH. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 1:45 p.m. The ride begins promptly at 2 p.m and continues through scenic southwestern Ohio in Clermont and Brown Counties. The ride will end at 4 p.m. at Buffalo Wings 'N Rings, 2355 Bauer Road, Batavia Ohio near Mercy Hospital Clermont. Riders pay $15/single or $20/double and receive free t-shirts and lunch prior to the ride.
All proceeds benefit the Committee to Support People with Disabilities, which is the levy committee for the Clermont County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MRDD). This committee purchases advertising materials (yard signs, mailers, postage, etc.) for upcoming levies that support the programs offered to children and adults who have mental retardation and other types of developmental disabilities.
