Hotch Custom-Built Bobber to Be Raffled at FMA Booth
Midwest-area motorcycle enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet nationally known biker and designer Matt Hotch and win one of his custom designed and built motorcycles in a charity raffle this Labor Day weekend at the On the Waterfront Festival in Rockford, Ill.
Hotch, two-time winner of the Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build Off,” will sign autographs at the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Foundation (FMAF) booth from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Aug. 31, and from 11:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, Sept. 1. FMAF is the event’s official 2007 charity.
The custom bobber-style bike will be displayed at the Foundation’s booth at State and Wyman streets throughout the festival. Raffle tickets are $20 or three for $50. Tickets can be purchased on the FMAF Web site at www.fma-foundation.org/Charitable-Auction.cfm.
The aqua blue bike features a 92-inch Shovelhead engine, Springer front fork, flat back frame, Metzler tires, custom bottom-mount headlight assembly, forward controls, contour single flute grips, 200/50VR-18 3, and Sprocket brake kit. The estimated value of the bike is $25,000.
Hotch also will appear at the Kutter Harley-Davidson dealership located in Janesville, Wis., on Friday, Aug. 31 from noon to 2 p.m., where he will sell raffle tickets and sign autographs.
All of the proceeds from the raffle will be used by FMAF to award scholarships to young adults preparing to enter the metal fabricating and forming industry.
