|Description||Last Mile ride slated for Aug. 25 in beautiful Vermont
The second annual Last Mile ride will be held at Gifford Medical Center in beautiful Randolph, Vt., on Aug. 25.
Staging begins at 9:30 a.m. and motorcyclists depart at 11 a.m. for a 140-mile ride through some of Vermont’s most beautiful countryside. Riders will pass working farms, community centers, the golden dome of the Statehouse in the capital city of Montpelier and even follow the gentle curve of picturesque rivers. The route includes valleys and hilltops and a mid-way break for riders to stretch their legs.
The ride ends at Gifford Medical Center, where it will have begun, with a barbecue lunch. The cost is $50 for one rider and $75 for two riders (on one bike). Riders need not pay the money themselves. Riders can fundraise the fee by asking friends and family for tax-deductible donations. The riders who raise the most win prizes.
The ride supports end-of-life care at Gifford and our dedicated team that provides specialized care for the terminally ill. Learn more at www.giffordmed.org or by calling Ashley Lincoln at (802) 728-2380.
