About Ride For Wishes Chuck Worden was the lead singer of a Southern Rock band named "Chain Lightning". The band had just performed at the Moondance Jam on July 14th, 2004 when Worden went to cool off inside an air-conditioned car. A friend checking on him found him collapsed. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died of a heart attack.

Ride For Wishes is an annual event that has been created by friends and family of Chuck Worden as a tribute to the memory of a man who meant so much to them.
