Joel Yates was always the life of the moment. he could tell you the best jokes that would turn a bad day into a awesome day with just two sentences. He reached out helped and touched a lot of people in which he made best friends out of. This poker run will be held June 14st to show support for the family from the local friends and businesses that knew and loved Joel. As always his famous word STUD! We will love and always miss you stud!
For anyone who knew Joel, they knew that there was never a dull moment with him. He was a sucker for adventure, beginning in his teenage years racing dirt bikes around tracks (and streets) in his little Midwest town. On weekends, you could often find Joel approximately 13,500 feet above everyone else in a rickety little plane at the Walterboro airport getting ready to barrel towards the Earth at more than 100 mph.
Joel could be easily identified in a crowd of people by his Snap-on wrench belt buckle or recognized as the life of the party as the person telling jokes to keep everybody entertained. He was a light-hearted spirit that enjoyed living life to the max and seeking a new thrill each day.
Joel was known by many aliases. Some called him Tool-guy, others called him Snappy, some called him a best friend or father.
More updates will be posted as events occur and plans are made. Anyone willing to sponsor or help host the even please do not hesitate to post here or message me.
