|Description||To celebrate Halloween, we’ve put together some hauntingly fun displays to get you in the spirit!
-The one-of-a-kind “Haunted Harley” provided by Bob Finkle of Carlisle. The frightful HOG has been transformed with unique audio-visual effects, 3-Dimensional animations, and LED lights to create a ghastly display that the entire family can appreciate. This 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider will be available for viewing through November 10th, so be sure to come and enjoy the first and only LED animated motorcycle in the world!
-The 1924 wooden bodied REO Funeral Hearse on display in the AACA Museum Lobby
-Black cars are rumored to be bad luck, but what about black cars? Guests can enjoy a collection of all black vehicles in two sections of our main gallery
– highlighted by one lone big bad orange AMX!
-We/re also showcasing a 1929 Graham-Paige 612 Radiator Shell featuring 30 hand painted characters from a variety of sci-fi and horror movies by artist Bob Luczun. The image include: Frankenstein from 1931, Bride of Frankenstein from 1935, Thriller from 1984, Dracula from 1931, The Mummy, Friday the 13th, Psycho, and many more favorites.
-Trunk of Treat is our annual family trick or treat event which will take place on Saturday, October 26th from 12Noon to 3PM, throughout the galleries of the AACA Museum. Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy an entertaining afternoon of family fun! Trunk or Treats 12 years of age and younger can create their own treat bag using a variety of art supplies then begin their journey to discover treat spots throughout the AACA Museum. Not so scary Halloween theme cartoons will be played in the 1950’s drive-in. Don’t forget to see the witch for some candy in the inflatable Haunted House! Treats courtesy of the Hershey Company. Best of all admission is just $5 so come out and join the fun!
