|Description||Bikers Against Diabetes - Matthew's Ride
Bikers Against Diabetes (B.A.D.) was started in Southern California by Rip Rose, a biker and photojournalist for Easyriders magazine. Rip wanted to bring the biker nation together in the fight against diabetes. Today, that dream is a reality. Every year thousands of bikers (and others!) join the movement to end diabetes by participating in this fun event.
The proceeds from this event will benefit Diabetes Research.
Matthew's Ride will be a "Gypsy Poker Run" starting and ending at the Brunswick Elks Lodge at 179 Park Row. Card stops will be at: The Railroad Diner - Lisbon Falls, Buck's Naked Barbeque, and the Bath Elks Lodge.
The ride will be followed by a barbeque. We will have music, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and lots more fun.
A $20 contribution is requested per rider and $10 per passenger
You don't have to ride to come and join us, just a desire to help to find a cure. All forms of transportation are welcome!
