| Description: | The Ride of the Patriots is a four-day event spanning the entire Memorial Day weekend. All activities for the weekend are at or begin at Patriot Harley-Davidson, located just West of Fairfax Circle on Fairfax Boulevard ( Map). Activities start on Friday evening, May 28th with a Chapter ride to the Candlelight Vigil at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Our event continues on Saturday, May 29th, with the Patriot Harley-Davidson Open House (9:00-6:00) where you may have your National H.O.G. membership card swiped to receive a commemorative pin for Rolling Thunder XXIII, buy a Ride of the Patriots 2010 commemorative T-Shirt from the dealership and the Ride of the Patriots 2010 commemorative coin and pin at the Chapter H.O.G. booth. Visit the Patriot Harley-Davidson website for open house details. On Sunday, our ceremony starts at 8:00AM and our keynote speaker will be Air Force General,Richard Myer, Ret. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Gen. Myer will join our ride on his own Harley Davidson motorcycle all the way to the Pentagon on our fully police escorted trip from Fairfax to the Pentagon to join Rolling Thunder.
