The Austin Junior Forum Teddy Bear Program has provided Teddy Bears & Dalmatians for local public safety and emergency response agencies, including the Austin Police Department, Austin Fire Department, Travis County Sheriffs Office, and Austin-Travis County EMS, to give to children involved in traumatic events for more than 20 years. In 2008 and 2009, AJF partnered with the South Austin Area Motorcycle Enthusiasts to host the first annual Bikerz Bearz & Dogz benefit ride to raise funds in support of this valuable community service program. These stuffed animals have a calming effect, providing a source of comfort and something tangible to hold during times of crisis.
This is the 3rd Year of the Bikerz, Bearz and Dogz SAAME/AJF sponsored ride. Each year we ask local businesses to donate gifts that we use as raffle prizes or sponsor the event. The following are businesses who have contributed to this year's event.
