The Windowpane Open Golf Tournament kicks off the weekend with an 18 hole blind draw at Moab golf course for cash and prizes including a custom bike for a hole in one!
Registration from 12 noon–1.30pm. The tournament starts @ 2pm with a shotgun start. The limit is 88 golfers so call 435-259-6488 for early registration, especially if you need to rent clubs.
Saturday, August 26–Afternoon
From 10am to noon, riders will sign up @ Spanish Trail Arena for the LaSal Loop-Deadhorse Point Run, over the LaSal’s, down through Castle Valley past scenery you’ve seen many times in Movies, on TV and even in Rock Videos, to an optional lunch stop by the river @ Red Cliffs Lodge, then down the Colorado River Road, before turning north, then west out to Deadhorse Point, and a view that has to be seen to be believed, then back into Moab, all the while competing for cash and prizes.
Saturday, August 26–Evening
Sign up for the Iron Horse Rodeo is 4pm–6 pm, at Spanish Valley Arena (competition starts @ 6pm). Events include Keg Roll, Barrel Race, Obstacle Course, Potato Race, Slow Race and everyone’s favorite, the Weenie Bite.
These are all Harley events, street tires only, with categories for men and women in most events (maybe its just me…I don’t want to see a men’s weenie bite contest).
Prizes in each event for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place with over $1000 cash and prizes. Food and beverages are sold on site. Camping and showers are available
Sunday, August 27
Many of our riders who come down from Montana and others who have a long ride home will be heading out on Sunday, but for those who want to see more of beautiful S.E. Utah and S.W. Colorado, we will have rides planned.
