|Description||2009 Itasca Habitat For Humanity Construction Cruise!
It is time to make plans for the 3rd Annual Construction Cruise motorcycle charity ride for the Itasca Habitat for Humanity chapter.
This year's ride is planned for Saturday September 12th, 2009.
Registration will begin at 9:30 AM in the Itasca Habitat for Humanity “Restore” Building located on the east end of Grand Rapids across from Midway Bowling. Your entrance fee of $30 per person will include a T-shirt, a ticket for the $100 cash drawing, and lunch at the “The Hill” in Squaw Lake.
The ride will depart at 11:00 AM sharp from the parking lot of the “Itasca Habitat for Humanity Restore”.
From the “Restore” parking lot we will turn right on to Hwy 169 and go north to where we will turn left onto Scenic Hwy 7 and head north. This will take us to the town of Big Fork and our first stop at the “Big Fork Wilderness Bar”. Gas is available at each end of town.
From the “Big Fork Wilderness Bar” parking lot we will turn right and head north on Hwy 38 and then we will turn left on county road 14/29 and head west.
Once we arrive at Alvwood, we will turn left on to Hwy 46 where we will go south to Squaw Lake and have lunch at a neat little pace called “The Hill”. Lunch will be a “Hamburger” buffet style set up with all the trimmings. One time through the buffet line.
From “The Hill” parking lot we will turn right and head south once again on Hwy 46 to where we turn left onto county road 4 where we head east through Max and Spring Lake to Hwy 6.
From county road 4 we will turn right and go south on Hwy 6 to county road 19.
From hwy 6 we will turn left onto county 19 and head east to Hwy 38.
From Hwy 38 we will turn right and head south to the “Wilderness Pub” where we will conclude our “Construction Cruise” charity ride with door prizes and a drawing for $100 cash.
