AZ Bike Week 2006 General Information

The 10th Annual Arizona Bike Week filled with 10 days of events, entertainment, and riding will be held in Scottsdale and is on the Lightning Customs Major 2006 Biker Rallies List.

If you havent been to this bike week, Scottsdale is right next to Phoenix. Outside of the city you will find the beautiful northeastern section of the Sonoran Desert filled with mountain ranges and valleys, with trees on the rocky slopes. This part of the Arizona desert provides some great riding for Bike Weekers. It is lush compared to other deserts and it is also has the most diverse amount of species of plants and animals in the United States.

If you are coming to Bike Week from a state where you can enter through the northern part of Arizona, a good route to take for is going through the Grand Canyon which is 230 miles north of Scottsdale. Another 80 miles south you will be able to ride through the Flagstaff Mountains filled with winding roads and pine trees.

2006 Bike Week Arizona Attractions

Some of the events for the 2006 Bike Week will include Cycle Fest held at the West World of Scottsdale, custom bikes, rides, races, vendors, Miss AZ Bike Week contest, wet t shirt contest, music, and more.
