General ABATE Boogie Information

Now officially just called the Boogie we refer to it the way that the event has been referred to in the past. The Indiana ABATE Bean Blossom Boogie is held just outside of Bloomington Indiana Springville at the Lawrence County Recreational Park.

The event has steadily grown since 1980 and is now the premier adult Indiana motorcycle rally. Just in case you do not know, ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) is a non-profit organization that promotes education, safety, and freedom of choice for motorcycle enthusiasts. Although most of their time is spent promoting and protecting these ideas, the ABATE Boogie is a time to have fun.

The ABATE rally is definitely a rally where you need to sleep at the park to be able to experience it. The attendees are having an old school good time and partying throughout the night. The Boogie is on the Lightning Customs Major 2011 Motorcycle Rallies List.

ABATE Boogie Rally Attractions

If you are looking to party and see some skin you will enjoy both the camping area at night as well as the Hoosier Honey and Best Buns contest. Other ABATE Boogie rally attractions include two stages of live music, ride-in bike show, motorcycle rodeo, motorcycle runs, other contests, and swap meet.

Boogie Fees and Other Information

-$40/person if you are already a member of ABATE and have your ABATE ID or you will need to join at the gate for $35/individual or $55/couple in addition to the $40 entry fee
-Primitive camping is free, $10/car or truck, $5/trailer
-There are a limited number of spaces for campers, RVs, and buses which cost $75 and the ones that have hook-ups are between $150 and $500.
-No one under 18 years old is allowed, so make sure to bring your ID.
