General AspenCash Rally Information
The Aspen Cash is one of two Ruidoso rallies, the other being the Golden Aspen Rally which will be held September 15 to 19. The AspenCash bike rally is one of the top New Mexico rallies and is on the 2010 Lightning Customs' Major Bike Rallies List. Attendance in 2009 for Aspen Cash was around 10,000 and for the Golden Aspen about 35,000. If you have ever been to the Rocky Mountains in any state you know the weather can make drastic changes in a very short period of time, so make sure you bring rain gear for potential afternoon showers and some warmer clothes to the Ruidoso rally because it will cool down at night.
Aspen Cash Rally Attractions
A big attraction at this Ruidoso rally AMA Signature Series Event is the area rides in the Land of Enchantment. Ruidoso is located in the colorful Rocky Mountains of southern New Mexico where you have a ton of riding to do in the rugged, pine tree filled mountains. Other area attractions you might want to check out during the AspenCash bike rally are the two local casinos. The New Mexico Convention Center is the center for the Aspen Cash rally which will have a four day trade show, but you will find that a lot of people are trying their luck on any of the many poke runs throughout the rally.
